Cost control starts with the budgeting process. In any business that follows a cost control procedure,  it all comes to compare the company&#8217;s actual financial results with the budgeted expectations. If actual costs are higher than planned, management has the information it needs to take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/c\/cost-control.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">You can read a definition for Cost Control in Investopedia.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-red-background-color has-text-color has-background\">Cost Breakdown Structure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the development of a project, it is necessary a <strong>Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)<\/strong> which is a cost allocation to the lowest level of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Work_breakdown_structure\" target=\"_blank\">Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CBS is a breakdown of the costs of the various components and elements of the project&#8217;s structure including all works or services done by the subcontractors.
